Super-Seed Power Breakfast
½ cup old fashioned oats
1 cup water
½ cup berries of choice
2 pitted dates, finely chopped
1 tsp chia seeds
1 tsp pumpkin seeds
1 tsp hemp hearts (or the entire seed)
1 tsp sunflower seeds
½ tsp cinnamon
- Place the oats and water into a small pot and bring to a gentle boil.
- Reduce the heat to low and simmer for about 5 minutes. Stir in the cinnamon, chopped dates and berries. Add more water if you prefer a more liquidy consistency.
- Once it’s cooked through, scoop the oatmeal into a bowl. Stir in the seeds and enjoy.
