Decadent Flourless Chocolate Torte
Sugar-Free, Syrup-Free, Gluten-Free, Grain-Free, Dairy-Free
200 grams unsweetened baking chocolate
200 grams pitted dates, soaked overnight and drained
¼ cup unsweetened apple sauce
¾ tsp baking soda
¼ cup coconut oil, melted
1 Tbsp pure vanilla extract
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
In a powerful food processor, blend the baking chocolate and baking soda together into a coarse flour. Add in the dates, apple sauce, eggs, coconut oil and vanilla, blending into a sticky batter.
Transfer the batter into an 8 x 8 inch glass baking dish and bake for 25 – 28 minutes.
Cool for 1 hour and serve.
