As someone who is extremely busy and with many things on the go, like many of you ladies are, I can appreciate a meal that is quick, easy and both delicious and nutritious. You may have noticed the rise of something known as “green smoothies”.
Green smoothies are commonly made with green leafy veggies such as spinach, kale, swiss chard, collard greens, and celery along with sweeter fruits (to help with the taste). It is a fast and easy way to get your vitamins in when you are in a rush. Now, I know that green smoothies are not found on the SLIMQUICK Mix and Match plan, but they can of course be incorporated into your breakfast – especially if you are a big fan of smoothies.
Below is a SLIMQUICK-Approved Green Smoothie, give it a try!
1/2 cup of kiwi (peeled and chopped)
1/2 cup of cucumber (peeled and chopped)
1 green apple (peeled and chopped)
Half a medium banana
250 – 300 ml of water or half almond milk
handful of ice and a sprinkle of parsley
Blend and Enjoy!
