5 Fresh & Easy Salad Vinaigrettes

Why go to all the trouble of painstakingly putting together a weight-loss salad piéce de résistance, only to drown out all its health benefits with a store-bought salad dressing full of unhealthy preservatives, sweeteners and fats? You may as well just eat a cheeseburger (no, don’t actually do that).

Every salad is a work of art that deserves to be crowned with nothing less than a tasty, healthy salad dressing of your own creative making. And it really involves nothing more than a couple of Zen minutes meditatively whisking together a small handful of ingredients, lending to a fresher taste that’s more affordable anyway.

To top it off, research shows that adding something acidic to your meals, like vinegar or lemon juice, can have a powerful impact on improving satiety, appetite control, weight loss, blood sugar, insulin, cholesterol and triglyceride levels. These vinaigrettes not only make your weight loss salads that much more appealing, but they also have the power to take their weight loss effects to the next level.
